The clients brief on this 1 was quite straight forward.
Build 6 cases that will allow the cookers to be used without being lifted out of their cases, as well as offering secure transportation .
Due to the rigours of the road we opted for a 13mm Hexagrip laminate on this job and industrial grade fittings.
The cookers were bolted into the base of each case with an aluminium heat spacer on each side bolted to the cooker to stop the laminate from getting too hot
A 2 part lid was incorporated which allowed front and top access.
5" Blue Guitelle castors were used instead of the industry standard 4" due to the rough terrain these units would have to cross.
6 cases were built and delivered from original contact with the client within a week.
Since then we have gone on to manufacture cases for this company's fridges, waterboilers, tills and several other cooker cases.
