The brief on this job was quite stringent.
The opthalmology department had purchased an expensive camera for taking pictures of the insides of peoples eyes. The camera came supplied on its own stand/table which had 4 small cators.
The flightcase had to be transportable by 2 people yet once insitue the the camera and its stand could be rolled out of its case to be used or left in the base section of the case
Several designs were given to the customer and the completed design was given the go ahead.
The case was Manufactured from 9.5mm Hexagrip using our standard range of case fittings. The case was fitted with 2 bar handles on the rear so that it could be wheeled along on its rear recessed blue wheel corner castors. The blue wheel versions were used as so not to leave marks on the hospital floors.
A reinfoced aluminium tread plate ramp that folded back inside the case during transport was fitted so the unit could easily be removed from its flightcase when required
The case was then fully foam lined with high density plastazote foam inside and fitted with plastazote foam blocks to hold the camera securely during transport.
Utilising a Front off/ top off 2 part lid enable the camera to be used in the case when required.

The whole project took no longer than a week from receiving the camera from the customer to delivering it back to them in its completed case.
