Showing that we dont just make cases for DJ's & bands, the motorsport world is also a very big part of our buisness
The clients brief on this 1 was quite strict on what he wanted.
Build a flightcase to transport a motorbike, have a system on the base of the case that allowed the case to picked up using a forktruck but the flightcase wasn't to be fitted with wheels
Utilising Penn Elcom's pallet cushion system tro absorb the shocks going through the case during transport, 10 off the orange pallet cushions were fitted to the base of the case with the pallet cushion spacer to give added height for forktrucks
Giving a useable load capacity of upto 1020kg easily covering the weight of the case and the motorbike being transported inside it
Due to the rigours of the road we opted for a 10mm Hexagrip laminate on this job and industrial grade fittings with doube angle to give increased rigidity to the case when the lids were removed
A 2 part lid was incorporated which allowed front and top access so that the bike could be wheeled in and out easily
On this occasion we also supplied a full metalworx trussing system for the pit garage
All built and ready for delivery in 7days
